Pedagogy
In an educational setting, Juan Carmona, a certified instructor holding the Diplôme d’État and the Certificat d’Aptitude, teaches flamenco guitar at the Toulon Provence Mediterranean Regional Conservatory, and the Aubagne Conservatory.
Arts and cultural education
Arts and cultural education (ACE) and the transmission of cultural knowledge are important vehicles for fostering social and cultural connections. The Juan Carmona Company carries out several initiatives aimed at young audiences.

Throughout the year, the Juan Carmona Company organizes events for the public (meet-and-greets, lectures,…).
Artistic direction of festival
For the past 14 years, Juan Carmona has served as artistic director of the international festival Les Nuits Flamencas in Aubagne.
